Heating and Air repair Fayetteville N.C
Have your A/C Serviced before the summer and save money on costly repairs.
If you’re like the average homeowner than your heating/AC system is probably one of the most neglected things in the your home. Most people are aware of the need to service their vehicles on a regular basis with oil changes, spark plugs etc. But we often fail to give our heating and A/C units regular maintenance. We regularly adjust our thermostats expecting the system to cool or heat the house efficiently though we rarely if ever have the unit serviced. Most of us have no idea that our systems may be running on their last leg and we often find out at the worst times as they tend to breakdown right in the middle of winter when we need them the most. Did you know a unit that is low on freon, if ran in the winter, can cause your electric bill to soar through the roof? I experienced this one firsthand years ago when I failed to check my freon and received my february bill from P.W.C for $550. (It’s true, my wallet has the scars to prove it.) I’ll explain the technical aspects of that in a future blog but for now take some time and really consider having your heat checked out before the temperature starts to really drop. There are also a ton of great reasons to have it serviced other than utility bills. Some benefits include: cleaner air in your home, less breakdowns during the year, and a longer equipment life span. Hope this info helps someone.

Mr. Johnson troubleshot, repaired, and replaced a heat exchanger in my furnace.
Member Comments:
My furnace would not work. After searching online for repair guys, I found Mr. Johnson on Angie’s list. I called
him and he came right over without an appointment. He figured out the problem very quickly and ordered the
parts. Once the parts were in, (1 business day), he returned and installed the parts and now the furnace works
fine. Mr. Johnson is very professional and all you would want in a service guy. He will be back before the
summer for my A/C checkup. I will use him from here on out.

Consumer reports Air purifiers
Looking for a good Air purifier? Here is some information from the consumer reports website:
“Before you buy one, try some common-sense strategies. Start by banning indoor smoking, minimizing candles and wood fires, and using exhaust fans in kitchen, bath, and laundry areas, along with frequent vacuuming. Test for radon (kits are about $15). Minimize carbon-monoxide risks by not idling cars or fuel-burning power equipment in garages. Don’t store or use chemicals, solvents, glues, or pesticides in the house. Maintain heating equipment, wood stoves, fireplaces, chimneys, and vents properly to remove combustion gases such as carbon monoxide from indoors. And install carbon-monoxide alarms.”
“Decide on a whole-house or room model. Whole-house models are the only sensible choice for forced-air heating or cooling.”
Currently the whole house Air purifiers we sell are RGF’S Guardian air. If you are in North carolina and need an Air purifier contact us for pricing. If you are outside of North Carolina consider RGF’S Guardian Air plug in at totalcleanair.com

Plug in Air purifier
Hello,
This is Mike from A/C Man Heating and Air,
According to the E.P.A indoor air is five times as unhealthy as outdoor air.
Indoor air pollution can trigger allergic reactions, asthma attacks, and other respiratory symptoms. Children, the elderly and even healthy adults can experience fatigue, nausea, headaches, scratchy throat, and nasal irritation.
New homes are constructed with tighter windows and doors to save energy, but they also keep fresh air out. Without adequate indoor air circulation, pollutants can build up over time, leading to poor indoor air quality. Most homes may not be properly equipped to filter and purify indoor air.
The Solution:
The Plug In Plus by RGF has proven to drastically reduce odors, smoke, mold, fungi, VOCs (chemical odors) and bacteria found in many rooms. Airborne bacteria and mold reduction is normally in the 90+ percentile. The Technology:
The Plug In Plus utilizes RGF’s Photohydroionization technology which utilizes ozonide ions, super oxide ions, hydroperoxides is ideal for hotel rooms, Daycares, suites, public restrooms, offices, locker rooms and more!
The Chinese government has tested and approved RGF’s PHI Cell for use in China’s government buildings for protection against the SARS virus.

How clean is the air in your home?
The EPA has estimated that the air in our homes is five time dirtier than the air outside. There is something that you can due to protect your family from bad air. A/C Man Heating and Air is currently installing RGF’S air guardian which is designed to be installed in your existing central air ductwork and will purify all of the air in your home. You may be wondering:”My heating and air conditioning unit has an air filter on it. Why do I need anything more?” The truth is traditional air filters only trap medium-to-large particles and have no effect on gases, vapors, and microbials. In fact, traditional air filters are a fertile breeding ground for microbial growth. In simulated sneeze test guardian has reduced germs by 78% at the source of the sneeze

Why is there ice on my Air Conditioner?
When you get up in the morning to go to work, before you drive off take a look at your Heat/AC unit outside and see if it is covered with ice. If it is you could be spending a lot of money due to a problem that can easily be fixed by calling a repair man. Units that are low on freon or have faulty defrost cycles can cause your electric bill to surge this winter by causing your heat strips to run constantly. If you notice ice on your unit consider calling a repairman today
